About SSMeetings

I am Sherry Sullivan, founder of SSMeetings, a woman-owned business.  Similar to other professions, we find that there is a need in the Meetings Industry for 'specialists'. Since the inception of our company in 2002, we take tremendous pride in creating custom program teams, based on the specific needs of each of our clients and the expertise of our highly qualified and reputable industry partners.  The result is that our clients have the 'best of the best' working for them.

My career began working in hotel national sales offices in Washington, DC representing Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, as well as InterContinental Hotels worldwide.  This experience taught me to be a great listener as well as to appreciate the value of business relationships.  When my clients are expressing their needs, I have the expertise to match my product or service to their needs, rather than the other way around.

With over 20 years of meeting and hospitality industry experience, I've directly managed medical, pharmaceutical, association, corporate and government meetings, ranging in size from 20 – 2,000 attendees.

My specialty areas include: Pharmaceutical Meetings, Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Healthcare Forums, Corporate Executive Meetings, VIP Programs, Incentive Programs and Association Meetings.

I have been an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 1991, serving on the Boards of Directors of both the Potomac and Tampa Bay Chapters.  In 2002, I was awarded the presitigious "Meeting Planner of the Year" award by the Tampa Bay MPI Chapter.
